Dont bother getting your little girl an American Girl dolly if you are a far right conservative. Your people are telling you no! Must be the same group that is anti Disney.

Okay, let me see. Buying this doll is bad because money goes to pro-choice groups and going to 'Curves' is okay because profits from that goes to pro-life causes. I get it.
And what's wrong with being pro-lesbian? People are born gay. Hel-lo?!

It's a good thing I'm a liberal Republican then, heehee. I own four American Girl dolls. I bought my daughter her first one two years ago and I'm thinking of buying her second (the native American one is sooo cute!) for her next birthday. And I'm looking forward to the new American Girl movie coming out next month. Boycotts for reasons like those in the article make me.
O-nut you read my mind... I was just about to post this!
I've already sent hate mail to the Conservative Psychos and supportive mail to American Girl and Mattel. I hope others do as well.
The people who complain send lots of e-mail, and thus get heard. Lets make sure American Girl knows they have support too! I'd hate to see them back down on this one, Girls, Inc. is an organization I fully support!
C'mon everybody! Let's shop!

I heard AG has a new slogan. "Buy a doll, become a lesbo!"Another is "We're American Girl, and we LOVES the ladies!!"
I tried sending a positive email to AG but it wouldnt go through.![]()
Okay, I know this may sound really bad, but are the conservatives really worried that lesbians are going to be having abortions? Sorry, that's the first thought that crossed my mind!!
With love from a conservative/liberal mom whose daughters own 5 American Girl dolls.
I used to have one of those. I think I popped its head off.
This is why I hate the far religious right....
...a vaguely celtic music fills the air...

Pretty sad, the things self righteous people will attempt to read into a simple gesture of love and acceptance towards someone and/or group and then try to force their narrow way of thinking onto others. It disgusts me.
I don't own an American Girl doll but I am buying one this evening for my granddaughter.
While I don't think I agree with everything that Girls Inc. advocates (based on that story... I didn't go to the site), American Girl is giving money to three specific programs that ave nothing to do with all the controversial issues that the protest is about. So, I don't see too much wrong with that. I just don't quite get it.![]()
No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...
Are there really that many lemmings in the world that will do as ordered to?
These radicals get press because they are so "off" but I suspect their threatened "boycott" will have a similar effect of a 1.4 earthquake in California.
But, I'll never get tired of pointing and laughing. Not my usual MO but, in this case it is warranted.
