Is anyone else, like me, really excited for the holiday season? I'm not a selfish person...this isn't about presents or anything...I just love the decorating, the spirit, and the fun involved in the holiday season. Who else can't wait?
I bet November will drag on though.
Oh no, I am nuts for the season and have already completed my shopping, and have all my decorations just waiting to go up. I love everything about this time of year and the closer it is the more I get stir crazy to decorate and to be excited!!!
I would say when December starts, that is when I REALLY get into the spirit. It snows down here too so that just adds on to the experience. I like the buildup to Christmas, but once Christmas rolls around and their is nothing else to do then.....well.....There is nothing else to do. I just finished re-doing a cartoon I made, but this time I dressed everything up in Christmas attire (Characters, sets, props, etc.) I wish I could post it but I can't for several reasons. I also redid that cartoon and decorated it in Halloween fashion but it is 99MB. Anyway, Usually I do not ask for much. Maybe a few DVD's or CD's. But I usually just get things I want with my Christmas money. I like watching "A Christmas Story" and going to midnight mass at church on Christmas Eve. We decorate here to, but I only like the lights and playing Christmas music on our surround sound system. I remember last year we were still building our house and while we did that we always had our Christmas music playing while the snow was falling.

Isn't the Target headquarters in Minnesota?? I think they got a bit too excited. I have very emo feelings towards Christmas here in Michigan, because I hate the snow. I miss the Arizona winters.
Yea, we saw some of that here too. I agree - first Labor day; let us savor the last bit of summer. Then Halloween, then Thanksgiving. Christmas shouldn't start until dark Friday.
That being said, I do love the decorations and music.....
