If he had been missing for that long, was he in the car the whole time? It makes me sad that the police officer didn't try to wake him up in the car when he gave him a ticket! Remind me not to die in Australia!

Um... how do you not notice a dead body in a car?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. Unless the windows were tinted or the sun was glaring off the windows? Who knows. Either way, I have to imagine the person who issued that ticket feels pretty bad about this.

Well, if it's a little old man, and he's hunched over the steering wheel, and you're an officer standing at the back of the vehicle writing a ticket....

...of course you'd think that in putting the ticket on the windshield you might notice, but if you had been behind the car and ONLY went up there to put it on the windshield, I suppose you'd walk right by the driver's side (or even passenger's!) window while standing up tall and looking forward, thus shielding Mr. Deadguy from your view.

    Still...

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...
