In the spirit of the Miley thread who would your choices be for the "Spirit of Celebration" wall if Mr. Lincoln himself handed you 3 empty photo frames and told you to make his wall feel like an American Celebration?

    My wall would like this:

Since when has the Beatles been American? I know they were super popular and important in US history, but really? Are they really American?

Personally mine would have something like this:

    Walt Disney for sure
Band-Nirvana maybe? They did change US culture
    Jackie Robinson?

Idk, this was harder than it first seemed.

So it's a requirement to be American?

What are the requirements, photo's of a person/people, or can it be a place or event? Just trying to figure out the perimeter before I make my list

I suppose... I just think that America is a little too concerned about themselves, I mean look at Canada! Their education systems place an emphasis on World History, and studying other nations. We emphasize American History, and studying ourselves.

Canada is certainly watching us much more then we are watching them!

True. All I am saying is that the OP said American Celebration. I have nothing against the Beatles or anything like that. I just thought it was contradicting.

Fair enough! (Psst... that's what I meant by "I suppose...", I should have been more clear.)

It's not a requirement but it is relevant for it to be in theme with America considering the overall "Spirit of.." theme as you exit out of Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln.

When I think of great celebrations in American music history I think of the Beatles, to me they sort of personify American music throughout all genres.
