I love having all the action in my hometown! It better not move anywhere else. Besides, we have one of the largest venues for the convention aside from Vegas. Good Lord I hope they don't move it to Vegas!
They said that the Anaheim Convention Center boasts more square footage, but I used to compete there for cheerleading and the whole place never seemed that large to me.

I wouldn't mind it in Anaheim for purely selfish reasons.

However, I remember distinctly thinking during the D23 Expo that Comic Con would never work in the Anaheim Convention Center, no matter if it has supposedly more square footage.

I highly doubt that moving to Anaheim would solve any of the overcrowding problems. If you think there's an AP problem at Disneyland, it's perhaps 20 times worse at San Diego Comic Con. Something needs to be done and as unpopular as this may sound, I wish there weren't so much of a Hollywood studio presence at the Con. That more than anything else to me seems to have been the catalyst for SDCC's meteoric rise to prominence in recent years.

UPDATE: ABC 7 now says a third city is in the bids for Comic Con

So San Diego, Anahiem now.. L.A, Home of E3 and AX want to be the holding place for CC..

I just read an article yesterday that said Comic Con is bound to stay in San Diego for at least a few more years due to a new deal with the Convention Center. I'm thinking expansion maybe?
