Parents need to teach there children!!!

    Happy Halloween, all!

Tonight, I'm answering my door to the
trick or treaters with my Mickey Mouse
Club Ears and Mickey Mouse Club T-Shirt.

In one of the groups of Children, one little
boy about 5 or 6, with a Power Rangers
outfit on noticed my Mickey Mouse Ears.

He politely asked me: " Are you Chuck E Cheese?"

    CHUCK E. CHEESE?!?!?!?!?!?!

    OMG!!!!!!!!

This poor deprived child!!!!! Don't his parents
    teach him ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I gave him some candy and politely
explain, "No, I'm a Mickey Mouse Club Member."
and sent him on his way.

(Shaking head in sadness) Oh bother... a truely sad state of the world when a child don't even recognize Mickey Ears. But hats off to you Aladin for trying to enlighten and educate the children of your neighborhood!!

    Good Mama! That's awesome!

My little sister is very "in-tune" with Disney. My aunt sent her a pair of golden ears for the 50th and she was mad because they were mickey ears and not minnie ears (no bow) and she recognizes Disneyland's castle versus WDW's.

I'm sort of not suprised since there was a period in the 90s where more kids recognized Joe Camel than the Mouse. The classic characters are rarely touched except for the occasional holiday tie-in video, probably because using them in today's projects will cause those projects to be unfairly compared to the legendary toons which we all have rosy-colored memories of.

Not to mention, I don't think my youngest has even been to a Chuck. E Cheese more than once. I despise the place. We went to the one in Modesto for my nephew's birthday a year ago and it completely reinforced my hatred. There's one here in Bakersfield and when the boys saw it they said "oh look a Chuck E. Cheese", in the most unexcited voice you can conjur up. It was great!

I'm very proud to say I've NEVER taken my daughter to Chuck E. Cheese. They're gross! Now some friends have taken her there, and she thought it was "okay", but I will never go there! We prefer the original Mouse, thank you.

The Wolfette used to love Chuck E. Cheese, and I loved the salad bar they had, am glad that time is over now, but it was OK for the time. But mistaking Mickey for Chuck......That is a little much!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!
