Here's a diagram I found on another board that explains what's what on each atrocity, I mean, mascot:

This article was on CTV today:
London 2012 mascots unite world in laughter, face palming - CTV News

From looking at various boarbs, blogs, articles, etc, it seems that about 95% of the comments/reaction to them is negative.

    Huh, interesting.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Re: Introducing Wenlock & Mandeville: the London 2012 Mascots

Is the goal to come up wth the most hard to understand, ugly and malformed costumed things you could possible dream up? I'm assuming their goal is to come up with designs they know will get us all talking about Olympic mascots...when quite frankly we wouldn't be, if they looked even halfway respectable!

For those that remember "Lost In Space", they look like little robots invented by Dr. Smith after he'd had a couple too many.

Ugly, ugly, ugly, ugly. But I'm sure that come time for the games, people will be fighting over items with those images on them.

And the British press criticized the Vancouver Olympics so heavily??? They should eat some crow I think.

What's that got to do with anything? The press has nothing to do with designing silly mascots.
