8 Cats - 1 Fly

You'd think the felines would get rid of this little pest. No........we have to wait the 24 hours for him to die on his own.

Anyone else have this happen with the cats in their household?

Wait...what's the problem?? Girlfriend, do you really have eight cats? That rocks, although I'm stopping at 3. I just spent $350 at the vets today.

Well, it depends on the cat. We had a June Bug get inside the house. Scoundrel was interested and chased it but wasn't very effective. Then Big Orange Jack saw what was going on. With one clean swipe of his enormous paw the June bug was down. With one additional move, it was in his mouth. The next thing you heard was crunching.

And this cat gives me kisses every morning. Lovely bug breath mister.

PS. I love Wolfy because it make my having 6 cats not seem so crazy.

Although I DO have a Crazy Cat Lady Action Figure. Thank you Dusty!

Yes I really do.....$219 last week for shots and check up for 3 (we do them in shifts). Tomorrow teeth cleaning on 1 ( my oldest )...$100. Now if I could just get them to catch the darn fly!!!!!

8 cats and NO ONE will catch the fly?! Shameful. I'll send MY "girls" over, they'll show you how it's done.

Yeah so baby kitty had her first vet visit today. $170 just for her--new kitty pkg. She also had a nasty case of ear mites so she was treated and of course now the others need to be as well.

The other kitty who went today (Gladys, 2 1/2yrs) was AWFUL today! She has NEVER been a problem at the vet before until.......Baby Kitty. She growled, hissed, swiped, spit. It was heartbreaking...and embarrassing really. I had to take SmallGirl and leave the room while 3 of them did the exam and shots. Oy. Sibling rivalry at it's finest.

yeah, well you just wanted to know how to get the cats to catch it....I have no idea how your sopposed to catch it...ask someone else

Most cats just have short attention spans. My Cooper used to love to hunt and eat stray insects. Molly, on the other hand, will pounce and chase for about 5 minutes then go off for a nap.

Right now all of them are watching the darn fly, maybe a jump once in a while......damn the insect just flew in front of my computer screen! The new pet ( the fly ) has decided he like landing on the big screen TV, not a good place for cats jumping, even if just once in a while.

Jenn, edited.....only $219.00. But it adds up and I wouldn't change a thing!
