24 Hours of Gaming for Charity

Hey everyone. This weekend Honor_Bound and myself will be participating in a charity event called ExtraLife. I decided to set up a thread so we can post pictures and let other people know about this amazing event.

We will be spending Saturday morning at 8AM to Sunday morning at 8AM gaming to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. We are very excited about this event because it is so unique. Well we are a little less than an hour from game time! We have been busy getting things ready to start. Breakfast is already consumed (cereal), and we are just making sure we have all of our accessories together so we can have a smooth 24 hours. Last night we headed over to Barnes and Noble and picked up a board game, then Toys R Us to get another board game, and last but not least game stop to pick up 3 video games. With that being said I am going to leave you with some pictures of our gaming stash for the weekend.

Well we are almost 4 hours in and we have played Guitar Hero 5, Cranium Dice, Lego Star Wars, and now we are starting up the wii to play Mario Party 8.

We have now been playing for 8 hours! 4 hours of that was spent playing Mario Party 8. I can not believe we spent 4 hours just doing that. We are now switching gears a bit and heading over to our newest family member in our board game collection, the game of LIFE!

Well since LIFE a couple of hours ago we ordered pizza for dinner, but I was an idiot and accidentally marked it as carryout instead of delivery. So we had to take a 10 minute break to grab dinner. When we got back we put on UNO on our PS3 and played that while we ate. We are now on to Comedy Movie Scene It? Which is another addition to our board game collection.
