Re: Post your Christmas tree photos here - (merged)

I'll post pics of our tree in a little bit. We have 3 evergreen trees in our front yard and I want to put lights on them, but I don't think it will happen this year, too much unpacking to do.

Does anyone have hints for keeping a cat out of a tree? I didn't out ornaments on the lower part of the tree, but he has been climbing up in it. I got this stuff called "Shoo" that I have been spraying on it, but that doesn't seem to work either.

I have seen motion detectors that you plug in and the emit a noise that animals don't like to keep them off of things- does anyone know if those things work?

cats don't like citrus/orange smells. they hate it. try to find a spray that has thet in it or I just put orange peels down sometimes.....not for a tree, but toher things I don't want them into...LOL....maybe an orange with the cloves in ti will keep the cat away and make the hosue smell nice also. We had a stray cta marking out front door and we rubbed ornage peels all over it and he stopped.,,,good luck...I like watching the cat at my mothers house get into her tree, but it does make my mother angry,,...

Tina, I love your tree, your room looks homey and festive!! We have a similar tree topper. I have a Mickey topper on my Disney tree that's actually an antique. I'll take a pic and post so we can compare and see if they are the same.
I'm still completely in awe of your Mickey wreath that you made! I'm so jealous!
I'll have to borrow a camera, I still havn't replaced mine

DMof2 that Grand Floridian tree is gorgeous. I would love to do WDW while it's all decked out for Christmas just to see the different things at the hotels!
