Technically, prostitution is not legal anywhere in Nevada--that's not to say it doesn't go on; it's just not legal. In some of the rural counties (many miles away from Reno, Carson City or Las Vegas) you'll find legal brothels that are heavily regulated by the state.
So, if you want to pay for sex in Nevada and not risk getting busted by cops or picking up a potentially fatal disease, take about an hour drive into the desert.

Well since you saw fit to correct me I feel the need to return the gesture. I live in Reno and the brothels are NOT an hour outside the city but only a few minutes. The same goes for Carson City. AND phrase it how ever you want but it is legalized prostitution. Oh, and my wife works for the biggest resort casino in this area and damn proud of it.Not exactly.
