Best Tasting and Healthiest Soup Brands and Flavors

Like the commercial says, "soup is good food"! Yum! I can;t get enough of it. Seems like most foods that are healthiest for a diet are on the bland side. Probably to most of us, Big Macs and Whoppers have it all over yoga and a salad. On the other hand, soup is a delectable substiture. I haven't seen anyone (not even kids) that like at least one or two flavors of soup. Soup truely is a dietary hero. What are your favorite brands and flavors?

I don't eat much soup but sometimes a cold day just calls for a bowl of soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. I buy soups at Trader Joes. They come in a carton and the ones I have tasted are delightful. Aside from those, I also enjoy Amys Organics. I'm horrified by more than half of the ingredients in soup these days so I have to know exactly what I'm eating!

I'll bet Amy's Organics are delicious. Are they in NorCal? I'll have to try the soups at Trader Joes in the future. In, the meantime I'm going to make me a grilled cheese sammich tonight, as you have my tastebuddies all excited now.

Yes they do actually operate out of Petaluma, CA. I buy many of their items and all of the ones I have tasted are super delicious! Recently I have seen their items at Target and some grocery stores carry their items. They are a tad on the pricy side, but you're paying for quality over quantity and most of their stuff caters to common food allergies so for someone like me with multiple food sensitivities, this is a fabulous company. Enjoy that grilled sammie while I go make some soup! Bon Appetite

I love me some soup! Lately my fav has been Progresso Chicken Pot Pie. I love the Lobster Bisque at Mr. Stox and the French Onion at Panera. If you go to store for it, try the Red Pozole at Mothers market, and it's meatless!

Progresso Chicken Pot Pie soup sounds gormet all the way, dude. That's what I'm talkin' 'bout! Love Panera's broccli & cheese. The french onion is definitely next on my agenda.

I'm not sure what Pozole soup is, though I'll bet it's delicious. Anyone know where I can find a Mothers market in NorCal?

I make a lot of my own soup. I like to put something in the slow cooker and just let it go all day. Wake up, have dinner.

A thread about soup? Uhh...okay..I will play.

Campbell's Healthy Request when you are in a hurry. Homemade from scratch is always the best tasting when you have the time, not to mention, you can make it as healthy or unhealthy as you like.

Not to toot my own horn, but I'm really good at cooking. And anything with a slow cooker is extra good... Here's my recipe. It takes less time to put everything in than canned soup:
