Prayers for Colts Coach and Fans, Indiana

To our MiceChatters from the Hoosier State, and to Indianapolis Colts fans anywhere, bear hugs from me - and especially prayers to the family of coach Tony Dungy.
They found his son dead today at 18, from apparent suicide -

As was mentioned in a separate thread, it's a time for family, and for people coming together in prayer. It just seems like we hear more about this sort of thing during the holidays.
I hope I'm not being a "downer" here. I just thought that some of our friends could use some encouragement.

I was already rooting for the Colts to win the Superbowl. Peyton Manning is my favorite non-Raider. A loss like that makes football seem pretty meaningless, but I'll have a big ol' on my face if they can pull it off.

This is so sad. I've been watching ESPN all day and listening to them talk about it. I can't even imagine. I have my favorite team, the one that is MY team. Then I have the Colts running close behind. I'd love to see them pull off a Super Bowl win, even if I'd rather see my team beat them down in the playoffs again more. Now, I'd love to see them go for it even more.

I wonder if he will be on the sidelines this Saturday...I just don't know how this guy will continue to function, but sometimes it helps to stay busy when delaing with this type of devastating loss. I have a feeling that he might be out for at least a week to be with his family.

Coming from a Seahawks fan who will be at the big Seahawks-Colts game tomorrow, I have to say that my heart really goes out to Dungy. That's a complete tragedy.

An assistant coach will be leading the Colts Saturday. The best guess is that Dungy will be back for the playoffs.
