My personal e-mail has stuff deleted right away. My work e-mail has things going back to 2005. I never delete anything there.

My oldest dates back to August of 2003. I still have it because it consists of pictures of my nephew from when he was just a year old. He's ten now.
My oldest email is my eBay register conformation email from June 1, 2006.

One of my oldest work emails is from a client who died from a brain tumor. The emails were sent in different stages of his illness from healthy to sick, to slight remission to very sick.
His emails always made me smile as he was always so possitive up until his last day.
Mine is a list of graduation requirements sent to me when I was a college freshman in 2009. I intend to keep it there until I complete the last of them in May, lol.
I have emails in my current outlook from 1996, and archived in my MSMail from 1992...is that old enough? Lol
Geesh... I think I must be a freak. I don't save old email. In my "old mail" file on my AOL screen names (yes, I still use AOL. I like it.), I found something from 2009 from QVC about a tea brewer I bought for a work gift exchange that I didn't end up using because it shipped too late. On my work account (through meditech), I keep one about the awesomeness of our ER that's dated 9/14/11. I had my first migraine on 9/12/11 (I was vomiting blood! Scared the blood out of me!), and I went to the ER. All my friends had taken care of me and really went above and beyond. So I told my boss.
I'm pretty sure Don wins.
This friend of mine and I write each other about once a day, Mon-Fri, for the last decade or more. I found our oldest mail ( that I saved ) was from April 1999.
