I have new news about my kidney stones. You might remember that last 10/28/05 I went to the ER and was diagnose with Kidney Stone . I was never able to collect them so that they could know what kind or the cause. I didn't have any major pain after that trip to the ER I just had over all body pain. Tests where ruin in Nov & Dec and they could see for sure if I had passed them or if there were new ones. During this time I would have blood in my urine for no reason that they could see. I they had to have a contracts CT & x-rays with the hope that we would find some answer. I got the results the other day. I got to watch the CT frame by frame, which was real cool and weird . Then the x-rays confirmed that the ones on the right had dissolved on their own. The left side is the not so good news side. I have blockage were the Kidney meet the urethra and then another blockage above the bladder in the urethra. The doctor says we need to schedule surgery and my mind goes blank cause I think about more hospital stay and being cut open. I start asking more about this SURGERY using a ureteroscopy. Once I know I am not being opened up again (at least for now) I relax a little. I will be knocked out and this scope goes up the urethra through the bladder, view and remove anything. Will continue up the urethra to the Kidney, where they will view and remove whats there. They also have to put a stent in both places in the urethra so it won't close up on it self as it heals from the scope and removal. It takes about a hour and is out patient. I shouldn't be there more than 5 hrs and am not allowed to drive. I always hate that part. It is schedules for February 3rd and I have to say that I am very lucky that I am not in constant pain. So I will remind you as it gets closer to keep me in your thoughts and prayers that day for everything to go well.
