If Walt Would Have Had A Son, Which DL Associated Moguel Would You Prefer?

Lasseter, Iger, Staggs, Van Dyke, Martin, etc....there is no lack of compelling contemporary people that I think Walt Disney would have been proud to have called his son. Who would your choice be?

Yes. Lasseter is definitely a high caliber person in terms of creativity and business sense. This is not to say, however, that there are not a number of others that are just as full of business savvy and creative talent.

Who knows, perhaps Tim Allen would be able to carry the Disney empire forward, intelligently investing in the future.

Good to see you CA. I'd be happy to see Obama become CEO and son figure for Walt.. Steve Jobs isn't up for the task, and would be dead on his feet if he tried.

Not sure I understand the opening question, he had 2 daughters of his own with which he was happy with. And then he also had a nephew who helped save the Walt Disney Company in the 1980's and again in the 2000's and was a significant factor in bringing about Disney's 2nd Golden Age of Animation.

Right on Aladdin. Walt's spirit has much to be deeply proud of where his daughters and nephew is concerned. Plus the spirit of Roy senior can take tremendous pride in his son Roy junior and in Walt's daughters (his nieces).

Walt trained Roy junior, and it paid off. It is highly likely that he thought of him like a son. His daughters chose not to operationally run the company. Brother-in-law Miller failed miserably, but Walt's daughters must have made Walt feel very happy and truly successful. We all owe Walt's daughters a debt of gratitude for inspiring the invention of the themepark, as well as the greatest entertainment company of all time
