Can you name any other game where the "official" pre-game show (four hours) is longer than the game itself?
Not to mention the fact that every sports show in America is in Detroit this week to "analyze" the matchup.
Having said that, I plan to watch the game with a friend.
After a promise to Lightyear, I'll root for Seattle but I think the Steelers will win...more on that to come I'm sure as the countdown drones on to Super Bowl Xtra Large....
This is the sad thing about the Superbowl. It seldom lives up to the hype. 22 of the 39 Superbowls have been blowouts. The last few have at least been competitve games. As a Seahawk fan since their inception in 1976, I am hoping they win. if they do lose though, I just hope it is a competitive game, and not a blowout by half time. Even the commercials the last few years have ben so so. And of course, may my numbers come up in the pool. Go Seahawks!!!!!! Please just start them game though.

I'll agree it's over-hyped, but I watch the game, only. Don't care about the rest of it. If I see something interesting I can blip the TiVo back.

This just in...somewhere around 3:25 pm Pacific Time Sunday they'll be playing an actual football game between teams from Seattle and Pittsburgh for the NFL Championship...the football to be played of course, during breaks from the all-important and lately disappointing commercials... And for Lightyear's sake, go Seahawks!!!

I have long been a Steelers fan, not sure why though. When I was a little kid I had a Steelers pennant in my bedroom. Plus they had that QB a few years back with the full beard that made him look Amish or something. That was pretty cool, LOL.

My team is out so I wish both teams luck. My brother and his family are rooting for the Steeler's. I'm rooting for good food wherever I go to watch the game. (could go to one of my Youth's houses, could just stay home...not sure yet)

Steelers got this one, they're due and I love the team this year. I just moved from Pittsburgh a couple months ago, and I'm so sad that I'll be missing the superbowl commotion.

Steelers are due? Ahem, Seahawks 0 titles in roughly 30 years of existance. Seattle 0 titles since 1979. I think Seattle is due for a little glory our way. GO HAWKS!!
