No Mardi Gras for me this year I'm really blue about it, too. With all the extra trips last year and the upcoming ones this year, I don't have the time or the money.I guess I'll just have to decorate my apartment, put on some jazz, fix myself a drink and throw some beads to the cat...

There is a NOLA themed bar somewhere downtown...not sure where and don't really know anything about it. I'm not exactly a bar hopper, especially downtown.
I usually only hit a couple of parades in NO before I head over to Mobile, AL. That's where most of my family is; it saves on hotels!
