    Anders,
Everytime I read one of these music related threads, and see the bands you list, I realize that we have very similar taste in music.
    {back on topic}

Back to the topic at hand... Since you mentioned also that you like country, and noone has thrown any of those artists your way yet I thought I would. Brad Paisley is fantastic and gets a lot of respect from the olders generation of country. Another younger guy I like a lot is Dierks Bentley.

Re: Older MiceChatter Looking For New Music Suggestions

I would have to tell you that you need a little country feel in here now. I have to say that not ALL country music is all about dogs and getting drunk. Check these songs out!

The Dollar- Jamey Johnson (I just met him last night!)
    The Impossible- Joe Nichols
8th of November- Big & Rich
Jesus Take The Wheel- Carrie Underwood
Get Right with The Man- Van Zandt
Whiskey Lullaby- Brad Paisley and Alison Kraus
    If Heaven- Andy Griggs

And a little classic country for ya:

Lord, I Hope This Day is Good- Don Williams
Today, I Started Loving You Again- Merle Haggard
    Letter Home- Forester Sisters
    Seminole Wind- John Anderson
    Daddy Sang Bass- Johnny Cash
    Rose Colored Glasses- John Conlee
    The Rose- Conway Twitty
    Streets of Bakersfield- Dwight Yoakum

I guess thats all I can think of. Listen to a few of these songs and let me know wht you think!

The Van Zant Band is excellent and the lyrics are touching. The two Van Zant Brothers (Donny & Johnny) put this band together. Donny is from .38 Special and Johnny is from Lynrd Skynrd. Great combination!

I love DY too ... have been since I worked at a station that played his songs in the late 80's...I didn't see him, but he just played here at the Ventura Theatre on 2.10... "How's It Feel, Now That You're the One..."
