It's not 100% accurate, but pretty darn close, and it gives you a rough idea on how much your home (and anyone else you wanna look up) is worth. Pretty cool!

VERY cool! I still have a hard time believing how much my house is worth. Paper money is fun. It's like playing Monopoly.
Well, it got the price of my house about right, but it didn't have the info on the house correct. It shorted us one bathroom and about 500 square feet!

NA I too cant believe I live in a house that's worth as much as it is. If you saw it you'd say the same thing - lol.
"So, this is what a half a milllion looks like nowadays????"
Inconceivable!
I tried it, they had my address located about a block-block and a half farther down the road than it's actual location. Because of this I'm not sure if the quoted price and info was even for the correct house. Doesn't surprise me too much though if it is.
Dead on. All my info was correct, and a good price (for up here), to boot.![]()

wow, i knew our house(rental) was old but didntknow it was that old, no wonder its falling apart!! built in 1920's and by the beach so the salty wet air effects it badly. 489,000$ not bad for the area, but too much for the condition!

Hm. There seems to be a bug when I plug my house in. Then I saw it's a beta site.
I already have a good idea of what my home is worth. ka-ching!
Interesting site and the photos are fun to play with. I found numerous mistakes though when looking up various homes I've owned and know about.
For example: My parents old house close to DL in Anaheim is valued at $839K yet all the other homes on their block are in the $550 -6 range. Theirs was one of the nicer ones on the block but this difference seems very odd. Also, a lot of wrong info about the details of many places.
LOL! thats a lot of money for an old salty house !Originally Posted by MAXandBELLESmom
Its expensive just cause its in san diego. then even more since its practically on the beach(half block off)Originally Posted by hakuna makarla
i put in DL's address (yes, im that much of a geek)and the closest homes across the 5 are about 1 mil, but there is one that is half 1353 s palm, all the other homes aroud it are twice as much, must be crappy like mine, hehehee

We bought ours for $82,500 9 years ago. It would now sell for $250,000. I already knew that, zillow just confirmed it.
1920's bungalows are in demand. The saltier the better! (And that's a great price!)Originally Posted by MAXandBELLESmom
Wow!!! That was pretty amazing! It got our house pretty much right. We paid $62,000 for it in 1984 I think it was, and now it says its worth $214,824. Not bad for 100% equity since we have no mortgage on it. Its paid for.
Pretty accurate for our town. Real estate is going nuts up here. They are building on every possible lot, and downsizeing some sections to kick up the density. Sad in a way coz I miss my little laid back desert rat town. To many people, to much traffic now. They are even talking about making the highway through town a 6 lane from a 4.![]()
