You have my full support as well, DP. Dehydration and hypothermia combined are quite serious. You've certainly acted quickly on the matter by taking Magick to the vet right away. In doing so, you have given your pet a fighting chance.
Love in and of itself is a miracle. Love is forever. Forever is a part of God's plan...regardless of what happens in this life. I will keep the recovery of your pet kitty in my thoughts and prayers.

To Boldly Go Where No MiceChatter Has Gone Before!
This morning, the vet called. Magick was just resting still, but was rather annoyed and grumpy. (Which I'm taking as a good sign, showing he's trying to "fight" whatever this is.) His electrolyte levels were off, kidney enzymes were off, white blood count raised, and they also found a small amount of fluid in his lungs. So, he's there at least until Sunday, and they have to extract and test the fluid, with results coming Sunday morning. Ugh. I hate this. I just want him home and safe and healthy.
And thanks to everyone. All your support really means a lot right now. It keeps both of us going. There's power in prayer, and we can feel it. Again, thank you all.
Wish you were here!!! Come on in the water's fine @ Club DENIAL
Re: Sick Kitty: Prayers and Thoughts Needed
I am so sorry that Magrick isn't doing well. Boo, Vincent, Sally, Gus, Grandma and I send are thoughts and prayers are with you. The boss (grandma) says that everything will be alright, so don't worry. I know that it will be hard but your family as allot of support from your MC family.
This afternoon's update - he's becoming a bit more stable, and is rehydrated and is now regulating his own body temperature, but there is a large build-up of fluid in his lungs and abdomen that is showing negative for infection, and his heart is slightly inflamed too, and they don't know what's causing it. They're draining the fluid and taking another look at his heart. So, it's still just sitting by and waiting. They can't even tell me if he's going to be alright, mainly because they can't figure out what's wrong. I hope the new tests show something. So, another day........
