Re: Disney inspired backyard

I know I keep daying this but its so true
1. Your backyard is already amazing looking without all the FW stuff
2. You've spent so much time working on it, and it looks absoloutley, postivitvly, amazing.
I'v been trying to do this for a while, so far all i'v done is install a few colored 12 volt malibu lights, fake fireflys, and misters. It does look cool at night but i'm still trying to find that fog system you sent me at home depot.

Re: Disney inspired backyard

Just wondering by the way, how was this accomplished?

Did you use a standard hose mister or your pump?
Where did you get it from? Sorry for all the questions, i just find your set up amazing.

Re: Disney inspired backyard

PVE I used the 1,000 psi pump to accomplish this, the wind was blowing in the picture so it is not very thickl, normally it would hide the whole waterfall all fill the whole back yard up with fog on a still night, We usually only have them on while it's really hot or on summer nights during my show. The pump comes seprateley from the fogging kit, fog kit- $115 /pump- $670/ extra nozzles- $20 It takes a while to get it right, we had problems getting it to stop bursting because all the pressure, you have to get the nozzle connections so tight that after just tightening one you are pretty much wore out... so it took about a whole day to get it installed but it was well worth it ... let me know if you have any other questions, I'm happy to answer.

Whats the Fogging Kit?
What i did was have my misters running and my american DJ fogger in the back of the area, the thing is number 1, the fog smells really bad and not musty and natural like how i want it to smell (kinda like on POTC).
And also you can't keep the fogger running beacause of the fire hazards ect.

the fogging kit comes with tubes, pipe, and 15 fog nozzles which are similar to the mist nozzles only they are orifice ruby nozzles that atomize the fog to 10 or 5 microns in size, there are fog machines on the market that are meant to run continuosly, but these are rather higher in price ofcourse.

Re: Disney inspired backyard

Awesome pictures! I have decided whenever I build my own house I will hire you to come and build my water fall/fountain. So then it can be all awesome with lightning and the running water and stuff. hehe

Re: Disney inspired backyard

no, RU42 hasn't gotten it yet, I don't know when he will, i'll pm him.

Man, I wasn't expecting to come home tonight to my whole yard covered in smoke!!! The Disney Backyard caught fire!! the main power line that feeds my show had somehow gotten a slit in it while the grass was being put in, the sprinklers kind of got it wet, the neighbors said they saw a huge flash and a bunch of smoke and it had just happened before we got back and thankfully the circuit cut off before it started a huge fire... I am glad nothing was really ruined except for a black spot in the grass.

Re: Disney inspired backyard

So hows the fire fixing going?

I have a few more questions...sorry but your thing is sooo cool!!!
What do the flashpots do and how do they work/how do you load them?
How much did it cost you to build that waterfall?
What do your parents think of your show?

If you are having trouble uploading your video..if its less then 100 mg you should try youtube.com
Its very simple
