    Lunch?

If you could invite anyone to lunch, who would it be and why?

I'd choose Johnny Depp because I want to know more about how his mind ticks! He's so unique in his view of the world and I respect him for that.

I'll look up on her behalf.
I'll look up in the sky and think of you."

    Re: Lunch?

    Living or dead?

The first person that comes to mind right now is my daughters boyfriend/fiance's mom.

I say that because she and I had been talking about getting together for lunch for as long as the kids have been together (3 years) and talking about getting everyone together for a bar-b-q or something. But we never got past the "we need to do this someday" stage.

She passed away Thursday night so now we will never have the chance to have that lunch with each other. Pretty sad we live in the same town, just a few mile apart and never managed to find the time to get together for a simple lunch.....

    Me, me !!! LOL

I'd love to have lunch with Penn Jillette. Not only is he super sexy, he's the host of my favorite TV show, incredibly smart, and a huge advocate for the Libertarian party. I love him!!!

You don't know who Penn Jillette is???? You know the comedy/magic act Penn and Teller? He's the tall one, the one who talks.

    I seriously think he's dreamy.....

They have a show on Showtime called "Penn and Teller's Bullsh*t". Hands down the funniest thing on TV.

I just love tall guys with glasses and goatees. Swoon!!!!

Edited to add that Penn used to be the voice of Comedy Central until a couple years ago, did all their voiceover, intersitial and commercial work. He has a HOT voice!

    Re: Lunch?

Right now I'd say Apolo Ohno. Still so much I want to talk to him about, so much I want to know about him and his world.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
