Re: The "Official" 2006 March Madness NCAA Tournament Thread

I can't wait to watch the games tonight and tomorrow. It is always so exciting to see some of the mighty teams fall. Last year was odd because there was not one true Cinderella. I think the lowest seeded team to make it to the Sweet 16 was an more than a 10 or 11 seed.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.

I almost scored a jackpot with Winthrop. Only lost that game and Bama over Marquette.

I've got Boston going to the final four. There's nothing like losing your entire final four before they get into the second round. Hopefully they will step it up over the weekend.

Ouch! That does hurt. last year, my husband only had one team in the Final Four once it came around. I think I might have had two. Three is golden, four is a miracle.

UCLA leads 43-25 early in the 2nd half. UCLA pulling away. Phew.

Uh... I can't remember who all I picked and my paper's at work, but based on what you guys said, I'm in trouble!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

I did a bracket - but honestly, I haven't watched a basketball all year. Should be interesting -

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!

Don't worry, Never...almost all of us are in trouble.

Note...almost every eventual champion has at least one close call along the way...(1995- UCLA-Missouri in roud two - Tyus Edney length of the court to pull it out) -you have to win six games to win this thing, and only one team will do that.

    LATE ADD:
The UCLA Bruins are now are their way to a rout...and IMHO they caught a big break with Marquette's elmination...that matchup concerned me...

Ok...just for the record...The "Madness" part of March Madness is trying to watch ONE game while CBS keeps showing FOUR. I want to watch DUKE, dang it, but they keep hopping around!

It's always easy to criticize CBS, but I think they do the best they can especially in the first two rounds...BTW if you have cable do they offer the March Madness package? I know DirecTV does...for a price, of course...
And all games are supposedly available free at ncaa.com...

Cool Re: The "Official" 2006 March Madness NCAA Tournament Thread

Also if you are lucky to have digital cable and HDTV (I don't) several CBS affiliates are carrying the other games on their subcarriers free of charge as well.
