East of Chicago when I was in Sandusky! MMMmmmm

Jersey's Pizza here in Redlands is very good, and I still like the major chains.

    non-chain:

There used to be a place in Seal Beach called Johnny's Pizza. Actually, a friend of our's dad owned the place. It was simply the best pizza EVER!!!!

I also enjoy a place in the valley called Guidos.

Oh and Cesari's Pizza at Knoebels. Quite simply the best Theme Park pizza EVER!!!

    Chain:

I prefer Domino's and Papa Johns but we usually get Pizza Hut since they are the only ones that have low-carb pizza.

    I also like Costco's pizza.

Thumbs up Re: My Favorite... Pizza?

It's a little bit of a drive for me, but I'd trek on over to Lamppost Pizza over in Torrance...the Bar-B-Q Beef Pizza is delish!! Sliced roast beef, then BBQ sauce, and the piled up w/ cheese...and of coarse it has to be thick-crust!

    Re: My Favorite... Pizza?

We don't have great pizza here in NV, but we have very good pizza at a local joint called the "BLind Onion". Pizza chain I eat from the most is Papa Murphy's Take n' Bake. I really like pepperoni and pineapple from there. It is fairly cheap. If I want cheap pizza then it is Freschetta's spinach an mushroom with garlic sauce. Yummmy!

When in Seattle, Pagliacci Pizza is a must have! It is the best pizza I have ever tasted in the U.S. The best Pizza ever was eaten in Italy. Florence to be exact. Won't be going back there any time soon though. *sigh*

I totally forgot about Lamppost pizza.

I know the BBQ Beef pizza sounds gross ... but it's OH SO GOOD!!!

Up north, I swear by Amichi's. Call it in when you get off the BART onto the Muni. Pick it up and walk it across the street to the Giants game. But recently I discovered Nick and Willy's closer to home. I'll salivate at any place that has pesto sauce for the pizza instead of red sauce (cannot for some reason eat pizza sauce or anything at the Olive Garden without regretting it later on that night. This sucks because i do enjoy me a pizza and the Garden every now and then)

I'm an olives and sausage girl all the way, easy on the cheese. And Chicago style if at all possible...Thin crust to me tends to have the consistency of cardboard wherever you get it.

As for chains I will only go to Pizza Hut.

Good grief, I choked on my cough drop when I saw Haus of Pizza. Bear and I have been threatening to eat there for years. We'll have to give it a shot if you recomend it, Wolfy999. We usually go to Ruffino's when in Anaheim.

I'm fond of California Pizza Kitchen's Tomato, Basil and Garlic or Thai Pizza, but not many of their others.

Here in Bakersfield, we like Me & Ed's. Domino's is much better than Little Caesers or Pizza Hut here.

    Re: My Favorite... Pizza?

The pizza in my area sucks.
LaRosa's is runny and tastes like cardboard.
Pizza Hut just plain sucks..no flavor to it.
Papa Murphy's isn't nearly as good as it was when I lived in California.

When I used to live in Citrus Heights, CA there was one little family-owned and operated pizza place called "Giant Pizza". They had THE best pizza I have ever tasted. What I wouldn't give to go back there for some of their pizza....

The North End's Pizzeria Regina in Boston. Hands down.

(Now that I live in Boston, I don't eat pizza from Dominos, Papa John's etc anymore.)

    Re: My Favorite... Pizza?

I don't have a favorite "place" for pizza really. Everything we have here is a chain. We usually end up getting Dominos if we get pizza because I like the cheesy dots. Now my fav type of pizza is Hawaiian.

    Re: My Favorite... Pizza?

    Delivery- Papa John's
    Take and bake- Papa Murphy's
    Eat out- Beau Jos
    In house- My own

IMO pizza is the perfect food- it has all the basic food groups in one handy serving. Plus it just tastes GREAT!
