A shallow pan of water with dishsoap in it...set under a night light (so low outlet). All over the house, check the next morning, it will be filled with fleas (dead of course). Keep doing this for about a week, you will end up flealess! I have 7 indoor cats, and haven't had a flea problem since I did this about 10 years ago! Give it a try, can't hurt any way. Let me know your results.

You still have to treat your cats...I use Adam's Flea Powder. Apply it in the bathtub, because once the stuff hits the fleas...they burst. So there is blood spots, much easier to clean up in the tub. GREAT stuff!

    Advantage works like a charm.

    Re: a flea problem

The powder is not for bathing, you just apply it directly to the cat. With the blood spots though the tub is the best place to do it, use a towel to hold your cat and your hubby will be handy also.

Advantage...I've used it, but if you don't get it in exactly the right spot on the back of the neck, it's useless. With 7 cats I find it WAY too expensive also.

We have 2 cats and one dog and we use Frontline on them every month without fail. I have never seen one flea. Works like a charm. Expensive? Yes, but so worth it. Love my "babies" and I'm not getting rid of them so I will pay for the flea treatment.
