4/19 Mini-trip to London

Well. I went on the Internet on Sunday for forecasts and it was the only day in the week predicted to rain, but it didn't at all. Not one drop. So we were carrying around water-proof coats all day for no reason.

At some points, you could really feel the sun, most people had sunglasses on (whether that was cos of fashion I don't bother to acknowledge) but generally, it was coat-wearing weather but not bitter or anything like that. Just the odd breeze. It wasn't winter weather, but not fully spring either.

Too right. The Chamber of Horrors. *shudders* I didn't take any pictures and I didn't think it was too famous (in actual fact it is what Tussauds is most notorious for) so I didn't bother adding it in.. but basically its a torture dungeon with wax models of serial killers and people being tortured. Anyway there is a new attraction which opened recently, called The Chamber Live - it is honestly the most frightening thing I have ever experienced. You walk through a maze themed like prison cells, and there are live actors above you and surrounding you jumping out at you, doing everything in their power to scare the living daylights out of you without actually touching you. I am never doing it again. When we have a MiceChat meet, I'll wait on the other side for you guys .

London. One of my friends is going with me and she's never been so we'll be doing all the touristy things during the day and probably crashing into bed relatively early. If I remember correctly the past 2 times Ive been to Europe Ive been in bed by 9-10:00. God I'm old - lol.

Oh man, I'm dying to go back to Europe again... but it's gonna have to wait. It's going to be all I can do to afford Florida this year.

But if you take a 2nd mortgage out on your Florida trip, it can pay for your London trip. Then when the equity builds on your London trip, you can reinvest it into a Tokyo Disneyland trip . . . . . (If only it worked this way folks).
