Who remembers Orbitz, the drink from the future?

Oh boy were those horrible. Did anyone else have the misfortune of trying one?

I remember those but never tried one because it frightened me that they had "things" floating around in them.

nothing can be as gross in drinks as "Boba" However, I don't remember this.

Wow people hated those? I loved it! It was my favorite drink to bring to school with my sack lunch. Ok, so I was in like fourth grade, but still, I loved it. Heck, every so often I think about what happened to the stuff.

And Hector- I know surge is still out there! Heck, even some Burger Kings still have it as a fountain drink.

And drinks with Boba, most likely bubble teas of different varieties, you can get diferent kind of boba. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that the gross kind of boba you have encountered are the black tapioca pearls, which I an not all to fond of myself. I usually opt for the pineapple jellies. haha..

If anyone knows if Orbitz is still out there, please let me know. I want to try it again for old times sake, and see if there was indeed reason as to why I liked it so much. If I remember correctly, the one with the orange floaties (as I used to call those "boba"), was supposed to be creamsicle.

I remember when the lemon-lime "Fresca" first came out. Didn't it recently make a comeback of sorts?

That drink made me very nervous. I remember being little and drinking it very carefully so as not to drink in anything but the liquid. I finally did get used to drinking it balls and all, because my older sister thought it was cool. If it was cool to her then it was cool to me....but it scared me a lot. I wasnt sure if i was SUPPOSED to drink it all.

Yes , in fact they have two more flavors out too. one is raspberry and the other is. . . peach I think. But I really like the original citrus the best. Refreshing!

Oh yes, Orbitz another unfortunte product of the Clearly Canadian Beverage Corp. I remember thinking when someone gave a few to me, "Oh interesting lava or oil lamps", then I realized it was soda. Flat and sickening sweet soda with gelatinours orbs slowing sliding down my throat. An experience I rarely want to remember. I wonder why this product wasn't on the "I Love the 90s"... I remember for months after they would sit on the shelves saying buy me, right next to the Chocolate Soda and Virgin Cola. All winners! Another one of those products you look at and get sick. Example: When "Dinosaur" by Disney came out they had either bright ghastly green or orange pudding snacks that looked like radioactive waste.

I have a semi-politically incorrect term for those, Shanghai Spitballs. I thought when I saw them they were blue berries in some milk shake, it was a tea with balls of tapioca. While the tea wasn't bad, the boba make excellent ammo for shooting at the annoying mall rats. Southern California and a few places on the East is where I've seen these mostly...I tried them and I'm not a fan either..

I never tried Surge, but I always liked Fresca. Also Fruitopia which I haven't seen in ages...

What I can't stand is this disgusting new resurgence of TaB!

It is horrible worse than Monster, Red Bull, Rockstar, Von Dutch, Bawls, Guarana, Taurine, etc, etc.
This stuff literally tastes like cough syrup and Pixie Stiks.
