I love that book. My high school english teacher had a cupboard of books we could borrow books from. I chose that one and LOVED it.

That's what my dad, who was MI, did to Deception Point. I've got nothing wrong with a book being popular, it just wasn't that good. Especially the ending, it just reminded me too much of The Andromedia Strain.

    I read mostly non-fiction.

Right now I'm reading The patriots handbook. I'm on the section of the constitution. Yes, I'm reading the entire constitution....LOL...but there are other things in the book as well... poems, songs, excerpts from stories....hey, the stories are fiction...

My copy of The Federalist Papers has it at 15 pages, with 500 plus preceeding it all of which disect it piece by piece. The Federalist Papers really is where it is at when it comes to the U.S. Constitution. I see no better source regarding its intents.

Memoirs of a Geisha. I"m really enjoying it...great visuals.
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
    Marge: Pink.
    Homer: D'oh!
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"

    Re: what are you reading?

    Some non-fiction these days....

    1. Doing Work you Love by Cheryl Gilman
    2. The Power of Intention by Dr. Wayne Dyer

I am listening to a book on tape on my daily commute
Morgan's Run by Colleen McCullough (of Thorn Birds fame). It is about the first immigrants of Australia coming from Britain. Very descriptive, so far.

    Re: what are you reading?

I haven't read anything since the last Harry Potter book last summer. I have 3 Stephen King books waiting for me (Christine, Four Past Midnight & his new one, Cell), but I haven't been in a reading mood in ages. Maybe I'll try picking one of them up this weekend if I'm bored.
