    Re: what are you reading?

    This week?
Well I just finished Ballet Shoes so now I'm halfway through Theatre shoes. I'm also reading how to be like Walt, Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norrell, Victorian America (for school), Catherine's Heart and I just bought the Kite Runner. It was between that and the DaVinci Code and then I read Spark notes and decided I don't want to read the DaVinci Code. Sorry it just doesn't sound interesting and nobody has given me a reason why I should read it!

-Grapes of Wraith was a masterpiece, but don't be hoping for an "ending". let the story just unfold for you.

The DaVinci Code is a decent book if you keep in mind it's FICTION.

I decided to read the Dark Tower series again, to see if the ending still ticks me off as much as it did a year ago.

What does it being fiction have to do with whether or not it is any good?

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

    Re: what are you reading?

I finished The Great Gatsby this morning. I the descriptiveness. It's a classic, but it's funny how stale the plot seems now.

I finished Never Let Me Go by Haruo somethingsomething or something like that. He wrote another book I'd read....was a Merchant Ivory movie....damn, I'm so good right now with my details! Anyway, he's a WONDERFUL writer, even if I can't remember his name. It was very Handsmaid Tailish....good fiction.

I'm trying hard to get into The Red Tent....but it's BORING. And I'm reading two Alison Weir books, and I'm thinking of bagging them all for some brainless chick lit. The weather's so great right now, that anything heavy needs to go bye bye!!

    Re: what are you reading?

Well... everything I'm reading is related to school or furthering learning outside of what's taught in school, so probably nothing too interesting to you.

Sometimes, I'll read a subtitled movie or MiceChat to get my mind off learning.
