    that's funny

I try not to wear blue when going to bestbuy or red at target. If you look like you work there you can't shop with people asking for help.

Re: Improv Everywhere invades Best Buy

OMG...that was the funniest thing I've ever read. Great find Monorail Man! Reminds me how suspicious and paranoid the managers at Best Buy really are when I used to work in one a few years ago. But I had that happen to me at a VONS! Yes a supermarket! I had just gotten off work, still wearing my blue shirt and khakis (which BTW I can never wear again because they remind me too much of Best Buy ) and I went to my mom's work (Vons) and this woman stopped me to ask me where something was in the store. I just looked at her like she was on crack. I was like..."Uh I don't work here" and all she could say was "Oh." That is what irritated me the most when I worked at Best Buy. Our break room was in the back of the store so here I would be toting around a Carl's Jr. bag and soda (On my lunch) and I would have SO MANY PEOPLE stopping me for help. Bad enough we only had 30 minutes for lunch. I was like...oh I'll call someone for you. I'm on my lunch. This article just brings back a lot of memories. Not all of them enjoyable.
    But loved the article!

    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Thanks for the tip, NNL. I didn't feel like working much today, anyway.

    Gotta love it.

Oddly, it reminded me of going to the San Marcos Best Buy on their grand opening weekend. They literally had an employee in each aisle. Unfortunately, they all had about the same knowledge about product and location as these imposters did. And, they were probably less polite and helpful than the phonies were.

These people should get their own TV show, I would watch it.
