hey guys ... i was just wacthing shrek last night and started laughing over the duloc song and how it was a parody on iasw... what is your favorite small world parody.... seen any interesting one.... mine is self explanatory when you look at my signature

It looks like there is going to be one in the new 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'- that looks interesting.

I always loved the Simpsons where Aunt Patty takes Bart and Lisa to Itchy and Scratchy Land and Lisa drinks the water on the "IASW" ride.

That's right, it was Duff Gardens, not Itchy and Scratchy Land.

Although THAT episode has the best parody of Disneyland Paris

Although it was horribly lame, MAD TV had a parody of movies based off Disney Attractions. It was painful to watch but it was basically about it's a small world being possessed by Satan. They even had Jack Sparrow (bad impression, rather), Eddie Murphy and some other Disney Stars rowing in on a boat then being attacked by the dolls.

I like how Zazu sings IASW in The Lion King. Not really a parody, but I love Scar's reaction. "ANYTHING BUT THAT!"

When this episode went into syndication, there was an incident where two teenage boys on a field trip to Tampa get in trouble for dropping LSD while at a theme park, very similar to Lisa drinking the water on the Little Land of Duff ride and going crazy.

Where did they do at?? (I didn't know their was anywhere at Busch gardens you could have a similar experance..)

Simpsons has also done other great nods-- to Epcot (and MK in the same episode; I forget who has the Homer-climbing-berm icon, but that's in a quest for a $14 churro) and to DCA.
