I received both my degree & my teaching credential from CSUF. I went there straight out of high school & loved it. I had a great time and was involved in the Greek System, Athletics & the Cheer and Dance teams. It helps to get involved otherwise it's hard to make friends there. It is a true "commuter" school, so if you don't get into any activities, you don't really see people on a regular basis outside of class.
My dad was a dance professor there - he loved it. He recently took me back there (it's been 20 years) and showed me all his classrooms - the dance floors he helped design and where I decided to put a staple through my finger. Ah, nostalgia.
