 | Read any good web sites lately? The work enviroment that I deal with is different to say the least. Also, due to the nature of the job, I can't go into great detail. I TYPICALLY work a 7:30-4:30 day shop, M-F, weekends and holidays off. I've worked 4 very hard years to get to this spot. However, from time to time when we're undermanned, I have to work the "Mission crew". Today is one of those days. But, there's nothing for me to do. It turns out that they're not as shorthanded as they thought. I've done homework for my psychology class, and I've read more MC threads than I think I ever have before. I've got another 4 hours and 15 minutes of work left. In short, I'm bored to death. Which brings me to the heart of this thread. What are so good web sites to go to that keep you entertained? Please note that I'm on a gov't computer, so don't suggest sites with porn or games. The gov't kinda frowns when you use their systems for that. What sites do you like to frequent? |

| Re: Read any good web sites lately? Fark.com is a good one. Or ebaums.com (I'm not sure if it's ebaum or ebaums). They have some really funny videos to watch. What else...all the Disney sites, but those tend to get boring and repetitive. |

If you want some entertainment news - especially movie/dvd/game releases check in on www.comingsoon.net If I want to really pass the time I click on MiceGames. (It doesn't block on my gov't comp). Also, something I have done because my job is mind-numbing entering is watch DVDs using Windows Media Player. I have caught up on all my shows and I am planning on joining NetFlix so I can watch all the movies I missed and then some.
