Thumbs up Gates & Buffett: Philanthropy PowerHouse!

    I love news like this!

Warren Buffett on Monday signed over much of his $44 billion fortune to the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, uniting the world's two richest people in a bid to fight disease, reduce poverty and improve education.

Wow. It nice to know that just because people are stinking, filthy rich they still have hearts.

Of course, I've sure there are some tax advantages at work here, but the bottom line is good causes will have some great funding to work with.

That is a wonderful article, and it keeps with the philosophy of Buffett (which Bill Gates later adopted), that they will leave nothing to their children, and their fortunes will be used to help the "less fortunate" of the world.

I'm glad Buffett taught Mr. Gates the right way, and I'm glad to hear about this news.
