How do CM's feel about being asked to take pics of people?
Its part of the job- one your first day of orientation, it is pretty much drilled into you that taking pictures for guests is part of creating a magical experience because the picture you take is likely to be their favorite one- the whole party is in it and no one is left out. They don't mind at all and I loved being asked when I was a CM. Sure, there are probablt some who would rather not be asked, but I looked forward to it.
I have never asked. Ws useuly the one not n the pic. But now I won't feel so bad when I ask. Thanks
I Loved it! After I quit I had an AP and I would get so excited when someone asked me to take a pic. (we have already established I am a big dork) And we used to joke about it- people would come up to me constantly soon after I quit and ask me questions! My husband thought I must have some CM aura left around me! It eventually went away :(
Thanks for asking the question. I was wondering the same thing as I wasn't sure if the CMs were allowed to do it and thank you to the former CMs that responded to this thread. You all are the best!! :bow:Quote:

I personally always try to offer to take pictures of groups when I can-- especially when I am alone. (They often will take a picture of you in return, guests). I did this for one family with a GREAT Minnie and got this picture taken for me by a guest and I love it!Quote:

Hot places I take pictures is with characters (usually when it's not super CRAZY!), by the castle, by the water of TSI, and especially by IASW. I don't want to think about how many times I have snapped group photos of Japanese guests. crazy! ;)
Soon I'll be a CM and doing the same thing....
speaking of. Casey Jr. CM's rock!

My Fiance walks up to people and offers to take their pictures. Maybe we can all try this approach.
My dad always does this. He figures he can get a better picture for them this way. (plus he's a great photographer). People are always a little hesitant, but then thank him profusely when they see the results.Quote:
