![]() | Hello, I've been lurking around this board since right after it opened, so I figured, heck, I may as well join and be able to add my 2 cents to the threads. My wife and I have been AP holders for a few years. We're actually "between" passes right now, but I'm sure we will renew next time we go (not a big enough discount, IMHO, to renew early). We have a 15-month-old son who has already been to Disneyland more than most people will in there lifetime (8 or 9 at last count). He's just starting to enjoy it. He loves Playhouse Disney and the swinging cars on the Sun Wheel. I just made reservations for July 16th so that we can be there on the 17th, but hopefully we will be going a couple of times before then. |

![]() | Whew! That's a long thread. Hello all! The name's Sam and the last time I went to Disneyland they were still using E tickets. Sad, huh? WDW's been my main Disney fix for years, but I'm thinking a trip out to Cali may be in my future pretty soon. I live in Vicksburg, MS making my living as "the computer guy". Big shout out to the Witches of Morva!!! How ya doing, girls? Haven't seen ya since giving you props over at LP. I don't know Al, but I've enjoyed his writing since before he left MP. |

![]() | Hi there, I'm N8 and I've been a long time Disneyland fan. A small group of my friends from college are also fans and together we use our AP's to venture over to Anaheim several times a year to soak in the magic. The rest of my friends don't understand the Disney thing. They'd rather visit Magic Mountain or Vegas (suckers!). By the way does anyone else have the problem with people thinking that because you appreciate Walt's dream, you collect Mickey Mouse paraphernalia? Nothing’s sweeter than sipping a mint julep in the HM cue.

![]() | Canadian Disney Fan This is the first time I have ever posted on any board. I am a huge Disney fan and have had the good fortune of visiting Disneyland 12 times in my life. (It's a 26 hour drive from Calgary so cut me some slack, not to mention the brutal cost of American money next to my poor Loonies...) My 10 year old has been to Disneyland 5 times and my 5 year old has been twice. I was there for the first time during the 25th anniversary as an 8 year old and last year I went at 33. I can't say that I am going to make it out for the 50th, yet. Miceage is the best site for Disney news anywhere and I am the resident expert among my circle of friends, thanks to Al. I have my best friend and his family hooked on Disney now as well. I finally convinced them to go for the first time last summer and they have been grateful ever since. They get it now. They just wouldn't believe me when I told them how magical Disneyland is. The looks on your children's faces when they turn the corner up Main Street and see Sleeping Beauty's Castle for the first time is a wonderful feeling that I wouldn't trade for anything. My friends are leaving for Anaheim in April for their 2nd trip in 9 months. I am very excited for them. Anyways, thanks for a place to get great information and to post my thoughts. I look forward to going to Disneyland again in the near future!!! |

![]() | My first post This is my first post here to MiceChat. I am currently in the process of planning my first-ever WDW trip, which I hope to take sometime soon! My favorite Disney character is Roger Rabbit (as well as my all-time favorite movie!)-- 2nd favorite will be a tie between Mickey and Donald (though I think Donald is funnier!), with Goofy ranking next. I am a big Disney fan (as well as cartoons from other studios), and personally have always preferred the comical, or "cartoony"-type cartoons over the fairy tale ones; as for the latter, it would probably be a tie between Pinocchio and Cinderella if I had to pick a favorite FT cartoon, with Aladdin coming in next. I really look forward to using your forum(s). I have researched quite a bit of information about WDW in books, magazines, and the Internet; including WDWMagic, DisneyCentral, and InterCOT, where I also regularly post. I really look forward to adding Micechat's forums to that list! ![]() |
