Hi everyone! So glad to be here.. the name's Mike Rivera. I'm 19 years old and still living with my parents in the boring city of Temecula, which is about 1 1/2 hours away from the park. I used to be a member of the DoomBuggies Haunted Mansion board, but I left that about a year or maybe two years ago.

Anyway, I have always been going to DL ever since I was a kid.. and my two recent trips have been in the same year and only a month apart, clearly a first for me. I finally was able to purchase an annual pass so now I'm using its for all it's worth... hoping to go at least once a month, twice if I'm lucky. Also, I've wanted to go to Disneyland alone... just haven't gotten the chance.

I'm an easy going guy, usually wanting to relax rather than be too serious about things but still keeping a needed seriousness. Which is a step in the right direction, considering I was really serious before... anyway, I'm usually the guy wearing the jaguar shirt and black pants with a black shoulder pouch that has a panther clipped to a zipper, and Chernabog pins.

As I said, I'm glad to be here and I hope to enjoy myself here. Nice to see an active board.

I'm too slow on the draw and will not bother replying since Lashbear beat me to the punch!

Thanks for the Welcome mat. I would like to add that I might be able to pipeline some info as, like some of the poster here, have an informant that works at Burbank. (shhhh...)

Whew, that was a long list to look at! I think i've been sitting here for almost an hour... geez, I have no life. OK, Here we go.

My name is David, and I am an Orange County native. Born in Fountain Valley, grew up in Garden Grove, and currently reside in Santa Ana. I like Disneyland (naturally), anime, eating at hole-in-the-wall diners, and enjoying my friends' company at the mall and at the theatre. I am 18 years of age, and I am currently a freshman college student, living at home. I have posted on America Coasters Network and Stupid Guest Tricks, both under the guise of WindmillGuy.

My love affair with Disneyland started when I was three, when my mom bought Annual Passes for the whole family. I have pictures, postcards, and videos that document that halcyon year of my life, but my favorite proof is the veritable treasure trove of faded memories I have hidden deep within my mind. I also have over three dozen non-winner stubs from the Incredible Dream Machine, I think.

Anyway, we were unable to get passes the next year... and the next... and the next... This continued until the year I drove by the DL resort, and saw...

A roller coaster? What I winessed was the nearly finished California Screamin', in a park that I didn't know existed. My flame for DL was newly rekindled with a childlike curiosity for the unknown. When I learned that the timeless Main Street Electrical Parade was being brought to DCA, I begged my mom to let me go with a friend until she agreed. I came back that night with that synthesized opera fresh in my mind. I then went one other time with my family from AZ before my freshman year. I wasn't able to go again until senior year, when my friends pitched in and bought me a Premium pass. I spent an amazingly carefree year at the Happiest Place on Earth, and I hope that I will be able to get another pass soon.

I have been a watcher of Miceage since I got my pass, and I have posted several times on MiceChat before I posted here. What sets this place apart from other forums is the quality of its members- I recieved positive feedback as a result of my post on the color of Tomorrowland. I now know that I have found a place like no other, and wish that one day I will be known as a friend.

    Hi Everyone!

    Hey there-

My name is Richard and I just became a member today, after checking out this site for a month or so, I decided to join in on the CHAT! My "user name" is PNOKIO (sound it out) because this is my all-time favorite Disney movie and character...

We go to Disneyland about 4 times a year, even though it's almost 400 miles each way! Disneyland is definately our "healthy escape" from the stress of the real world. If I lived closer, I would probably be there all the time!

I love reading all the diverse discussions here and look forward to joining in on the vast variety of topics that all of you fellow Disney fans are writing in about.

    Keep up the good work!

    See 'ya at Disneyland!!

    Salutations!

    Hello to everyone!
    Name is nish221.
(I have that account on a LOT of other systems, in fact at one time,
many, many years ago, I was nish221 on everywhere there was a
    free account/email/registration! In particular, I'm nish221 on laughingplace.com)

I have a fifth grader and the toddler who are both crazy about all things
Disney. My personal facination started when I got a poster map of Disneyland
over thirty years ago. (Do they make them anymore?).

We usually go to DL about twice a year and WDW about once every two
    years.

I've been reading miceage since it started and mouseplanet when
Al was still there. I read the Disney newsgroup (which was a precursor
for the whole bit) for a long time as well.

I work at an high tech company in the Silicon Valley and have been
lurking on the Internet since it's infancy. I remember literally reading
    every newsgroup back in 1984.

    Wishing everyone "Happy Chatting"!

    Hey Nish221...

Welcome... this is a pretty cool message board, the people here are friendly.

I haven't seen a souvenir poster on any of my trips to WDW as an adult. I do, however, still have a souvenir wall map of WDW's Magic Kingdom from my first visit at age 5 in 1976. I love it and wish they'd make souvenir maps of the parks now.

    hey howdy hey everyone.

i'm an annual passport holder and also a native southern californian - so i grew up with the park in my cultural memory.

i've posted on laughing place before but only been a lurker here and just finally got around to registering here due to the tiki room reopening.

i may not post alot, cause i already have my hands full by being active at tiki central http://www.tikicentral.org and running/moderating the lotta living board http://www.lottaliving.com/bb for fans of mid century modern architecture and lifestyle and yet another message board (completely unralted to any of the above).

but i did want to introduce myself and say hi and thank the moderators and contributors here for hosting such a great board!!!

I have been a Disney fan since I was born you could say. As a baby my room was all pooh.I live in Disneyheim as I like to call it.I went to Walt Disney Elementry.

Anything else you want to know just ask.
