25 year old male from Columbus, OH who'd rather not be here at the moment...

Been coming to read MiceAge for quite a while now. Mostly active on the Utilidors.com boards, but been looking for more places to go as well lately -- when one board is dying down a little bit for the day, nice to have alternates.

I'm currently working on building X-STech.com (you may not get that site if you go there now... domain transfers and such are still being worked on), which is a tribute/history site to Alien Encounter as its focus, but also a tribute/history to that building in general, including Flight to the Moon and Mission to Mars. Since there's so much interconnectivity between many of the attractions, I've been considering on branching it out a little bit more to include a little of Tomorrowland in general.

Hey everybody!

tilt here, from the great white north. 35 and married 10 years. I have been a long time Disney lover with many, many visits to both coasts. My fascination with ride mechanics and engineering is what I love most about Disney parks, so that tends to be my focus areas of interest. I build large-scale Lego models in my spare time, and have been a serious collector of Lego for many years. I also have a penchant for physics. I look forward to contributing here, but I can't say that I am a prolific poster by any means.

Been reading Al's commentaries since the beginning, and have been involved in many online communities in the past.

Hey gang. I'm Chris, currently in a suburb of Milwaukee, WI (oh so boring there, let me tell you), but formerly a Disney CM at DisneyQuest Chicago (for about three months, then they closed), the Chicago Disney Store (for about a month, then I moved to DisneyQuest) and two three month gigs on the WDW College Program, Summer of 1999 at the Trail's End Buffet at Ft. Wilderness, and Summer 2000 at the Disney-MGM Studios Backlot Tour.

Oh, yeah, the age thing...I'm 24, and I long for the day my current job at a restaurant in Milwaukee (that Disney restaurant training came in handy) can earn me enough money to relocate. Perhaps back to Chicago, perhaps back to Orlando, or perhaps even some other city that ends in an "-o"...hopefully not Toledo, though...

Anyway, I have a strange sense of humor, as many of you have probably realized by now, and I just wanted to comment that all the monkey heads around here make me think of Bucky the Cat in "Get Fuzzy," going "Monkey monkey monkey monkey..."

Erm, that's all I've got (for now)

I guess I'll do the intrduction thing even though I've already posted, Hello everyone my name is Tui (well thats not my real name but its my screen name but you should know that anyway, because who would name a child Tui? If your name is Tui or you have a child named Tui please disregard the previous statement and be proud of your name) I post at Fabs, MI, MP, and now this one. They are all pretty good boards. Hopefully I can find one to settle into, and start a family...wait never mind about the start a family thing.

Hi, as you would have guessed from my screen name I am from Australia. I have been to Disneyland twice and DL Paris once.

I wander around these boards catching up on the gossip and keeping the magic alive as I don't know when I will be available to visit DL again.

Bit of a Disney freak, ask my boss and hubby who frequently catch me flicking screens when I am supposed to be working.

Like many here (I assume) I've been reading Al since the DIG days and honestly don't think I've missed an update in several years. I remember going on for hours to my mother about the thatch on the roof of the Tiki Room and how much I loathed Paul Pressler--at the tender age of thirteen.

Good to see these boards are already hoppin'. I'm here because LiveJournal is down, to be completely honest.
