 | Hello! Just thought I'd say hello, it's so great to find a website full of fellow Disney lovers! Though I've lived in CA for a few years now, I've been pretty lax about taking advantage of being so close to the parks -- don't worry, that's changing *g* Like pretty much everyone, I grew up in a family of Disney lovers -- my mom loves to tell me how she took her little brothers to see Cinderella when they were little. It was also a huge influence on my choice of career; I currently work as a professional illustrator, and yes I went through my "I want to be a Disney animator" stage! I decided that I didn't like drawing the same thing over and over though *g* Aside from Disney I'm also a huge rabbit lover and collect rabbit items of every sort. I'm so glad there are so many wonderful Disney bunnies to collect  |

| hiya I am marci. I am from San Diego, CA and like many, grew up with Disney. as a child we went to DL at least 2-3 times a year. I actually didnt go in most of the 90's(no money, no one to go with, busy with college etc) then i met my now husband in 97 and he took me for my bday. we have been hooked ever since. had AP's for a few years, had a Disney themed wedding(halloween 2001) honeymooned at WDW, then took a 2 yr break after having our first child. Max is now 2.5 yrs and Isabella is 4 months so we decided to get passes again and share the magic with them. I have been a fan of Al for many years and have followed him from site to site. have browsed micechat for some time, but tried to not post since i already spend too much worktime online, hehehee. then i saw the "what did you get" thread and there was a post with a pic of the 50th ann watch i had gotten and i had to join. please hope i dont get fired because i know i cant stay away now!! we are planning a special DL trip this monday so we can take Max on his first coaster and whatever else we think he is ready for. he is a very tall child and has already made it to the 40 inch limit(our last trip in oct he was 39.5 and just missed it) looking forward to "getting to know" you all! {: Marci ps if you couldnt already guess, yes, thats Max as pooh and Belle as eeyore in my avatar, no the pic wasnt halloween, it was a couple weeks ago! |

| Re: Welcome Newcomers! Please introduce yourself. Hello, my name is Rhonda, I live in Anaheim Hills, approx 10 east of DL. A very good friend showed me this site and now I sign in as often as possible. I too use to visit DL once or twice a year before moving to Orange County 8 yrs ago. I met Robert951 on an on line dating site. We hit it off great. He said he was a BIG DL fan and bought me my first AP. I've gone on a few Sunday meets, pin night and an occasional nights during the week just to see the fireworks. I've met several wonderful members, even went on a non DL outing. The people are great, friendly and made me feel so welcome. Robert and I are on a hiatus for now so I go with others I've met...hopefuly it wont be for long and we will get back together. I care for him deeply and miss our visits to DL/DTD. I have 2 children Travis 24 and Heather 21, a daughter in law and a new grandson "Levy Jason" born Sept 11th.  I hope to continue to meet people on this site and through DL. Rhonda |

I hope you all have a great time on the boards and maybe even at one of the meets. We have our big MiceChat's 1st Birthday meet Sunday, January 22nd where there will be plenty of MCers at the meet.

| Re: Welcome Newcomers! Please introduce yourself. Hey all I have been posting away and didn't realize this intro thread was here! I'm 29, divorced with a 2 year old boy. I love Eeyore. He is my hero. I also love Snow White. I have a Premium Annual Pass and go to Disneyland about once a week. My boy loves..well, he fluctuates on which characters he likes but he ADORES Ariel, watches her movie every nite but is starting to like Cinderella, but I think he likes the mice the best. He also likes Tigger and Pooh. He also likes Sorcerer Mickey. See ya around!
