Hi there everyone. Long time lurker (and ocasional poster ) to Mouseplanet, and since found LP and Yesterland. Dropped off the face of the world for the last couple of years, and noticed a decline in the MP site. Did everyone move over here?

Anyway, now planning a July visit with wife (first return since our honeymoon in '91) two kids, mother and 95 yr old grandfather...this will be his FIRST visit! (he didn't start slowing down until he hit 90)

Looking forward to joining the community, and chatting with fellow MouseCanucks.

    Hi Kelly,

I spent four years in Nanaimo, and ran a 8 screen cinema there for awhile. I also lived in 100 Mile House for a while. At least the summers there must be like home!

I'm living in Lake Cowichan, 30 minutes W of Duncan on the Island. Yes, I've spent some time passing through Lillooet both on the BCR and on the Trans Can/97. Lived in the Okanagan for 3 years too.

    Hi!

I just joined a few minutes ago and am very excited, but confused about how this works. (I'm not even sure if I'm posting this correctly!)

It all looks wonderful, but a bit overwhelming.

I'd like to post a question asking if anyone is/would like to trade the Disneyland 50th Anniversary Cards made by Upper Deck. I only need a few more to complete my set and have lots to trade.

Can anyone tell me how this all works and how/where to post my question?

Thanks, in advance, for your help!

Sad Re: Welcome Newcomers! Please introduce yourself.

Hi! I'm galoosh and I've lurked for too many years to mention. I'm a big fan of Al's and whomever it is that posts those wonderful pics each month on MC. I've used a few for my desktop (hope you don't mind

I'm a Disney fan from infancy. My uncle was a Dapper Dan so we went all the time. I even got a ride on the bicycle built-for-four! That's my only Disney claim to fame Never getting to work there has always been a regret.

I was an AP for three very happy weeks. I got my pass and found out we were moving on the same day!!!! I used it daily with my baby girl until we moved. I got down one more time until it expired

I've been on VMK but it was when it first opened. I found all my hidden Mickeys, got a few pins and then got distracted and haven't visited for a very long time. I can't even remember my VMK name. It's an awesome site though!

Looking forward to chattin with y'all!

Cool Re: Welcome Newcomers! Please introduce yourself.

Hi all from the rainy pacific nw. I've visited and loved the Disney parks for years. I've ridden both tracks of Mr Toad in WDW, gazed upon Captain Hooks pirate ship in Fantasy land and handed over coupons in the 25 or so years that I've been visiting disney Parks.

The coolest thing of all is I've been able to repeat the whole process with my little girl and she's made it onto the 'oldschool' pirates of the caribbean!

Talking Re: Welcome Newcomers! Please introduce yourself.

Hi. My name is lou and if you can't guess, I am a mom and a wife. I have three kids and have been married 16 years. Hubby and I went to WDW for our honeymoon and I was hooked. But we lived in upstate NY and couldn't get there again for 9 years. When we moved to AZ we went with our two kids to WDW and when our third child was born 9 years after the last one we went to DL and loved it. We vowed to go alot more. We bout an AP for all of us and love it. It is a 8 hr drive but we have been there three times since we got the AP in June 2005 and are planning another trip this June and also renew our APs for all. I love the Magic of DL especially Fantasy land. When my youngest was 3 (now 5.9) I took her on ISAW and she got off and said to me "Mommy, that was the most perfect ride". Can it get any better?
