Homeowners duties that make you just smile

Have ya done stuff to your homes/yards that just tickle you with excitement when you do them? And I'm not really talking about home improvements so much like painting or tiling floors as I am about say, removing trees, or taking out a window you hated and just patching it up?

Well folks, today is my day! I am finally removing those 4 nasty a$$ palm trees from my front yard that have dont nothing but bring me grief and hate for the past 3.5 years. Say buh bye!!

And here's a picture of a hot guy (hey I was already in my Photobucket account )

Congrats on the Palm Tree Removal, don't you just hate those critter infested things! Of course mine has no critters, but is about to take over the neighborhood....LOL!

Congratulations, I wish I could get rid of the palm trees that cause me grief and all that. Unfortunately, they're in my neighbor's yard and they just shed into mine.

Onut: are you putting new trees in their place, or going treeless?

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Treeless babe, I'm going treeless! I'm thinking of planting some shrubbery though in their place, maybe some nice ground cover or something and then a couple flax against the blank wall behind where the palms were. Not sure yet, I'm just rejoicing that those sons of bitches are gone!

A nice shrubbery, maybe with a path down the middle

Wow, that hot guy was working on your shrubbery? I guess it was worth the 3 year wait. Hmmm.

Goodbye Grief. Hello clear front yard. Yippee! Congratulations.

Kudos to you nut for hiring professionals. When i removed my trees i had my brothers and father help out and let's just say that the tree fell down and went boom on my porch which cost me almost $3000 to fix and two months of sleeping on the couch. So it's good you got the pro's! Congrats

Does this mean we'll see you cavorting and frolicking in front of the house as opposed to behind it?

We don't have palms at this altitude, so, ah, what's so bad about them? Are they really infested? When I see them I always know I'm on the coast. Should I be fostering a distaste for them? I have no idea.

And, were the tree dudes, well, um, cute and hot and fun-to-look at? We had, um, men to "do" our floor resurfacing during the heatwave and, well, that dang cat kept running through their hard work, and I just, um, yeah, right, had to sorta, well, excuse me, run through to get her.

    Cheap, but that's me.
