Funny POTC releated news story - Kids get lost in costume on the seas

    http://icwales.icnetwork.co.uk/0100n...name_page.html

A TEENAGER who got lost at sea while dressed as a pirate told of his embarrassment today.

Joe Adams, 18, and two friends donned Pirates Of The Caribbean-style outfits and took to the high seas in an inflatable dinghy.

But the craft drifted out to sea off the coast of Anglesey in North Wales, leaving the trio stranded.

A member of the public walking on a nearby beach spotted their plight and called the Coastguard, who launched an inshore lifeboat to rescue them.

Mr Adams said: "On a scale of 1 to 10, I would say it rates about 15 in terms of embarrassment.

"The worst part was the lifeboatmen didnt even realise we were pirates and thought we were dressed as characters from The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

"We hadn't realised how much danger we were in. Thankfully, somebody else had spotted we were in trouble and probably saved our lives by calling the Coastguard."

The student and his two friends, Adam Reekie, from Stockport, and Ben Hampson, from Warrington, both 18, were on holiday in Benllech with their girlfriends, celebrating the end of their A-Level exams.

They decided to dress as pirates - complete with hats and eye make-up - and took out the dinghy armed with only a crate of beer and a bottle of rum last Wednesday.

Mr Adams said: "We had only been out about 10 minutes and we had drifted quite far out.

"There was absolutely no way we would have managed to get back to shore on our own.

"We were a bit drunk and it did seem funny at the time but now we all realise it was a bit stupid."

    Best.News.Quote.Ever.
Anything listed on the park maps as an attraction is fair game for inclusion in the Rally.
I cannot confirm nor deny the inclusion of any attraction in the Rally.
