    I have a mask on...

Yeah, I just got that Proactive stuff and have to sit here for ten minutes! I was wondering how has it worked for anyone else?

I might give this stuff a try. But, with Jessica Simpson as the leading ad campaign, I don't trust it.

Whew, I'm glad this thread is about pimple stuff. For a minute I thought it was going to get all Emo around here.

"Oh I'm wearing a mask around everyone! I act happy when I'm not blah blah blah."

Anyway, hope it works for ya.
    What an idiot....

yes, I have used it....I have literally used everything dermatologists can prescribe, and I tried this when it first came out about 5 years ago. I hated it. It didn't work and it left scars. Like I said, I have used everything..and nothing left scars but Proactive. And not just red scars, I'm talking holes in my face. It's just one, but, it's on my cheek and about the size of a pencil eraser. As soon as I noticed it, I stopped using it. Went back to what the Derm prescribed. I hope you have better luck. Everyone's face and skin is different, so, what works for me, might not work for you and vise versa.

Re: I have a mask on...

My younger son has used ProActiv, and he seems ok with it. The older boy had a tougher time with acne and went through two courses of Accutane, and that did the trick. Accutane is serious stuff and does a number on your liver and blood chemistry. It's expensive (Insurance paid it.), and it requires regular lab tests and monitoring by a doctor.

that's actually one thing I haven't tried. They wanted to put me on Accutane, and after seeing that HUGE book they call a consent form, I changed my mind. My face isn't THAT bad, I can live with it. I heard it works wonders though. That you never have to worry about your face again.
