    I also like:
    Anchovies on pizza
    Pickled herring

And did I mention I ate dog once. Unknowingly. It was nothing I will wish to eat again.

One of my all time favorite indulgences from back in my 20's....

Crunchy peanutbutter and salami sandwiches....mmmm mmmm good!

Off course I no longer have a gallbladder and they might have had something to do with that....

I'll try most anything but I have to say when I was over in diffrent parts of asia (it was in Laos) the other year I ate these wok fried beetles. Which where really good I wish I hadn't ask what kind they where. They where Dung Beetles. But I still have to admit that served on rice they where really good. I would eat them again no doubt.

Hey, monkfish is GREAT! Of course, I tried it before I saw what one looked like. Served with drawn butter, it's the "poor mans lobster"!!! LOL

The most god-aweful thing I've eaten:
Chodofu. A regional delicacy of Ganzhou, China made from fermented tofu. It looks like chuncks of tofu with rotten salsa poured over it. It tastes like raw suage.
I've had that, and it translates to "stinky tofu". It's better known as hundred year old tofu and I love it! The strong flavor of it combined with the spicy sauce they put on top....it's delicious!

Other favorites that make my friends gag include:
Ants (ones that live by Fossil Springs, AZ taste like lemon drops)
    .
I gotta try that with a little bit of alcohol, sounds yummy.

Ever had peanut butter sandwichs with chili? It really brings out the flavor

I ADORE monkfish. And their liver is a real delicacy ("the foie gras of the sea"). My point was that they are far scarier-looking than eels, but my squeamish friends don't have a clue. If they had a whole anglerfish (aka monkfish) they would never be able to deal with it. Americans are so far removed from the origins of (and handling of) their food and have developed all sorts of food-related neuroses.

Must be another case of bad preparation...there's not enough fat in frog legs to make them greasy.

Does anyone else think frog legs look like GI Joe legs?

I have one more to add to the weird list.....crab ovaries! They taste good in small quantities but once you eat too much, it starts to make you feel sick. They are reddish-yellowish in color and have a "raw" flavor. It's not something I would want to try but if I ever have an entire crab, I wouldn't let it go to waste.
