About LinkBacksI went a couple places on the weekend and figured I'd post some pictures.
First, on friday I went to San Gregorio Beach.
Saturday, I went to Golden Gate Recreational Area. It's basically a defunct Anti Ship base from WWII. They built large guns and bunkers in to the mountains just outside of the Golden Gate across from San Francisco. It was rather foggy, which is how the bay area weather is.
A couple shots of the Golden Gate bridge.
Here's where one of the guns was mounted.
More lookouts and other "Batterys" and barracks.
Point Bonita lighthouse.
This tunnel was used to bring the guns in since big trucks couldn't make it using the narrow winding roads.

Beautiful pics!! Loved the ones of San Gregorio. My fav beach!!! So close to work. I hit the beach after work on numerous occations this summer.

Really?? I have a 6 and 9 year old, so I was thinking about NOT going there. I don't think they'd like it. I may have to send my husband by himself
