    Been to Europe?

So stuck here in the boringness that in smalltown, usa. I have been dreaming of the large world we live in. It has always been my dream to go to Rome. Which leads me to ask, Have you been to Europe? If so how was it?

I have and I really want to go back. It's amazing. I have been to England, France, Luxemburg (sp?), Germany, Netherlands, Belgium, and Switzerland. Belgium and Switzerland were my favorite, but it was all amazing.

    Britain (twice), France and Belgium.

Britain - food isn't as boring as you'd think

France - the people are NOT as snotty as we Americans are led to believe. In fact I didn't run into any people like that.

Belgium - people are very nice, a little reserved, and the best chocolate EVER!

Totally, everyone was nice and actually quite welcoming. And I think people were the nicest in Belgium. I loved Brussels, so small and quaint
and quiet. It was a cool place.

Strangely, parts of Paris reminded me more of L.A. than I would ever have imagined. The traffic was awful!

Holland and part of Germany. Really friendly people. Beautiful country. Bike accessible everywhere. AmsterDam is a wonderful city! Heerenveen, Arnhem, Oosterbeek(A Bridge To Far fame), Geithorn, Gronigen. I still have alot of family from Amsterdam and the surrounding cities.

    Re: Been to Europe?

I've been to England twice (loved the people there), Ireland, France and Antwep, Belgium.

Antwerp was gorgeous and fun to walk around, with a cathedral in the center of town. My avatar is the one of the wooden statues inside the Antwerp Cathedral.
One day your life will flash before your eyes. Make sure it's worth watching.

Meh. England isn't all its cranked up to be. There people there are disgusting, the food made me ill, the beds were made of straw, the men wore tights and the women looked, funnily enough, like men. I couldn't wait to go home.

    Hahaha, speedway, rotfl!

    Let's see...

Lived in England for a bit, love it (as long as you're not allergic to straw)
France is nicer than popular culture will allow you to believe
If heaven's not all it's cracked up to be, take me back to Switzerland (Luzern!)
Umm... and other cool places, yeah!

    Quit asking and JUST GO!

(And bring a Rick Steeves guidebook)

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

I've been to England and France. Mainly the London area (and outlying countryside) and to Paris...and Disneyland Paris.

Both are great places to visit. I'd go back to London in a heartbeat. I didn't get nearly enough time to see everything I wanted. Harrod's alone, you need a full day or more to discover every neat nook and cranny.
