    9 Minutes Snooze?

It seems like every single digital alarm clock that I have ever owned has a 9 minute snooze button time limit.

Does anyone know WHY this is?

I heard you could chage it? Not sure how though. I'll make my snooze for 3 more hours. I wish...

I haven't used an Alarm clock in YEARS. Is it just me, or does your heart race when you're awaken by an alarm? It takes a long time for that effect to wear off.

    Re: 9 Minutes Snooze?

I never set me alarm - I usually wake up 30 minutes before it anyway. But there are a few times it wakes me up and almost sends me into what feels like cardiac arrest.

I have a 7 minute snooze also - I guess someone figured that was just enough time to really get good and rested!

Glad it's not just me then! If I have to use an alarm I use my cell phone, but I usually wake up at the same time every morning regardless. The Human Body is amazing!

Well, I hate the snooze button - so I just don't set the alarm.

    Yikes. How old are you?

My 10 year old is learning how to wake herself up with an alarm clock. My mother stopped waking me up when I hit high school. I guess she figured it was a good idea to teach us kids to be responsible for ourselves.
