I try not to have more than a days worth of leftovers! Thanksgiving is one of my least favorite holidays due to all the excess food! But I do love seeing family and giving thanks for all of our blessings we have here in America!!!

What do you do with the left overs from thanksgiving? Why, save them for Christmas dinner of course. It's only a month away.

In a big skillet we put the turkey and gravy(make more gravy if needed) and warm it all up. We have that with all the other leftovers

We also make hot turkey sandwiches and regular turkey sandwiches and like Stink I HAVE to have mayo my leftover turkey sandwich and I never eat mayo

Thanksgiving leftovers are the best!! I usually don't get many since I never host it. This year we aren't sure if we are cooking at our house for the first time or going out somewhere for the first time or order the dinner in from somewhere.

But cooking or ordering in is appealing just for the leftovers!!

Usually, I'm very happy to come home stocked with leftovers. That's meals I don't hve to pay for at a time when money is on the scarce side.

Cranberry sauce is EXCELLENT on a turkey sandwich! Eventually I get to a point where I just load up a plate with every random thing I have left and make a very odd meal out of it.

We only have one days worth of leftovers. If there was more than that, I'd throw it out. The Thanksgiving meal isn't one of my favorites.

Re: what do you do with the left overs from thanksgiving?

I do have alot of leftover turkey meals and they are all great traditions.

Turkey sandwiches (cold with mayo and warm with gravy), enchiladas, soup with egg noodles and I do a baked dish mixing corn/stuffing and turkey. I am a huge fan of potato pancakes but have a hard time getting the hubby to part with the mashers. He does like a double baked mashers with cheese and sour cream.

I'm with xHb, I never tire of the meals. It means I've got quite a bit of easy, low cost meals. Makes my days a bit easier which is always appreciated during the holiday season.

I am by myself so I don't have a turkey and in fact, don't do thanksgiving. In fact, those that go around with happy Thanksgiving on their lips should be boiled in their own pudding. Bah humbug.

So sorry you feel this way.

We have a tradition I go shopping every year on the Friday after Thanksgiving, and then I come home and make my husband shepherd’s pie with the leftover mashed potatoes.
