    Re: Feeling sad and worried

I am so sorry Dot got out. I hope you get your baby back. My puppy disappeared from the backyard for a few minutes and I was frantic. He had gone through a loose fence picket and was in the next door neighbor's backyard. It was a horrible feeling, I am so sorry.

When you do get her back, get a chip put in her if you don't already have one.

I hope everything turns out well. If someone has indeed found him, please be careful, I had a co-worker lose her dog and someone found him. The person then proceeded to buy things for the pet and intended to keep the pet for himself. Then he tried to get money out of my co-worker for finding the dog and money for money spent on the toys/bed etc. I hope this doesn't happen to you. I'll be sending good thoughts your way.

If you get that info, you would probably have an easier time searching in those specific areas people saw him around and thought he was heading to.
I actually did get a pretty good description.
He was a young, tall, african-american man. Each person saw him near a different neighborhood. I put fliers up in both. When I was out driving today I kept stopping and asking people if they knew if there were any african-american families that lived near-by...I think some of them thought I was nuts!

Sending thoughts and prayers your way. *hugs* I totally understand. Years ago my dad left the backyard gate open and all three of our dogs got out, we found 2 right away, but it wasn't until a week later that my mom's dog turned up in a shelter.

I'll be praying very hard for you and that you find that man that supposedly has been seen with your dog.

    Re: Feeling sad and worried

I haven't heard anything yet. I am just heart broken. I put up some more posters today and added this to the bottom of some of the posters on the main drives:

    PLEASE!!!
If you have any information please call!
We have had several calls that she was picked up on Rita Rd on Friday 11/17. We love her and miss her. Our children are heart broken!
    Call anytime!

I sure hope they see it and call.

    Re: Feeling sad and worried

I was looking around the internet for about 40 mins. to an hour at national and arizona websites for lost dogs and came up with no luck. I did not check out the shelters in Arizon listed on this website and perhaps it might be something you may want to do:

    Sorry .

    Sorry .
Thank you so much for looking. Pima Animal Care (our pound) has a great link on their website where they post pictures of found dogs. I have been checking it every few hours.

I am hoping that the guy who picked her up on Friday just hasn't been out this weekend, so he hasn't seen the signs. I hope he hasn't just decided that he wants to keep her.
